Unity5 has implemented a comprehensive business continuity framework that aligns closely with its principles and objectives. Our organisation holds several internationally recognised certifications, including:
ISO 9001 – Quality Management System, our business improves the quality of our products and services.
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management, our business leads the way in environmental efficiency with ISO 14001 and demonstrates our commitment to sustainable practices.
ISO 27001 – Information Security Management, this sets out a framework for our business to establish, monitor and continually improve an ISMS (information security management system).
PCI DSS – Unity5 has accreditation to store, process, and/or transmit cardholder data. It covers technical and operational system components included in or connected to cardholder data.
ICO – we’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office for the handling of personal data.
These accreditations demonstrate our commitment to robust governance, data protection, and secure service delivery. In addition to this, we maintain a formal Business Continuity Management Policy, alongside a suite of supporting policies and processes that cover incident management, data protection (including GDPR compliance), information security, and risk management. Together, these form a strong foundation to ensure resilience across our operations and the continuity of service to our customers.

Cyber Essentials Plus
– We are certified to protect against common cyber threats.
– This includes vulnerability scans and on-site assessments conducted by external experts to verify security controls.
– Our product is built with high availability and continuity at its core.
– We host our platform on Google Cloud infrastructure, which provides world-class physical and digital security, resilience, and scalability.
– Google’s global network offers built-in redundancy, data replication, and failover capabilities, helping us ensure high uptime and rapid recovery.
– We have in place defined Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) protocols, including regular backups, geographic redundancy, and tested recovery plans aligned with stringent recovery point and recovery time objectives (RPOs and RTOs).
– Our BCDR plans are reviewed and tested periodically to validate effectiveness and ensure readiness.
